When you buy a property in France here is our ADVICE:

Always contact a state registered and approved real estate agent for your purchase in France. Upon demand they must show you the professional licence card supplied by the administration(Prefecture du Var). Registered real estate agents will always show their full company information, adresse of head office, location, card numbers etc.. on their WebSite. But you will find on the internet and some magazines many not registered persons and companies with 'important looking sites' that are actually no real estate agents in France! Be careful.
